The Gallatin/big Sky Noxious Weed Committee was formed in 2004 in response to aggressive expansion of spotted knapweed and ox-eye daisy in the Gallatin Canyon and Big Sky areas. Committee members include numerous local, state and federal government agencies, concerned citizens and local organizations. The committee is sponsored and organized under the Northern Rocky Mountain RC&D Area Inc., a tax exempt nonprofit corporation.
